Thank you for being here! Planning weddings is my craft, but these are the things that inspire me, keep my creativity flowing, and bring joy to every day.
I love watching my children grow their passions, whether it’s softball, basketball, or celebrating their victories, and I treasure movie nights and spontaneous dance-offs in the family room. I’m equally drawn to the outdoors, hiking trails, beach days, and crisp mountain air (and I’ve learned I don’t have to choose just one) as well as last-minute getaways that turn into lifelong memories.
On wedding days I’m fueled by energy, joy, and excitement, and usually a slice of cake, a Diet Coke, and a few hors d’oeuvres keep me going along the way. These little pleasures, full of movement, laughter, and sweetness, remind me why presence and celebration are at the heart of everything I do.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Washington to be exact, I’ve made my home in Central California. Though my heart has also lived in Las Vegas, where I earned my degree in Hospitality Management at UNLV, as well as Park City and Portland. I’ve always loved serving others and witnessing their joy, and over the past ten years, exploring every corner of California has been a true inspiration. It’s this love of people, place, and celebration that guides the Shelley Ann Events team as we craft unforgettable weddings across the beautiful state as a California wedding planner.
